Smoothie Bowl Recipe
A nutrient-packed smoothie bowl is a delicious way to beat illness.
Ingredients:
- 1 frozen banana
- ½ cup frozen berries (blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries)
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
- ½ cup spinach or kale
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder (for its anti-inflammatory benefits)
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
Toppings:
- Sliced fresh fruit (banana, kiwi, or mango)
- Granola or crushed nuts
- Coconut flakes
- A drizzle of nut butter
- A handful of goji berries
Instructions:
- In a blender, combine frozen banana, frozen berries, almond milk, spinach or kale, chia seeds, turmeric powder, and honey (if using).
