Smoothie Bowl Recipe

A nutrient-packed smoothie bowl is a delicious way to beat illness.

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ cup frozen berries (blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries)
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • ½ cup spinach or kale
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder (for its anti-inflammatory benefits)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Toppings:

  • Sliced fresh fruit (banana, kiwi, or mango)
  • Granola or crushed nuts
  • Coconut flakes
  • A drizzle of nut butter
  • A handful of goji berries

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine frozen banana, frozen berries, almond milk, spinach or kale, chia seeds, turmeric powder, and honey (if using).
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, adding more milk if needed.
  3. Pour into a bowl and top with your favorite toppings.
